Nearly one in two VSEs-SMEs now uses telework

Very little granted before the health crisis, teleworking has considerably increased among small and medium-sized French companies, according to a half-yearly survey published yesterday by Bpifrance, which surveyed 2,913 managers.

Now, 46% of VSEs-SMEs authorize remote work, compared to only 27% before the health crisis, according to the public bank. The weekly duration of telework has also been extended: before Covid-19, employees of these structures benefited from an average of 0.75 days per week, compared to 1.3 days today.
