The Crop Tour Grupo Labhoro and Notícias Agrícolas team arrived in Nebraska, in the American Midwest. The fields in the state, according to the reports, suffered more from the drought, from the intense heat, and the crops that point to slightly better results are the irrigated ones.

A similar condition was also registered in the extreme west of Iowa and extreme east of Nebraska, as explained by the general director of Grupo Labhoro, Ginaldo Sousa. “These are not very good crops, let’s put it this way. Crops that needed more rain and lacked rain at the ideal time”, he says.

In the video above, the report shows the difference between rainfed and irrigated fields and Sousa recalls that Nebraska is the state that irrigates the most in the United States. “And the state of Nebraska always has its problems, it is at a watershed”, he details.
