One should not get excited about the Norwegian boycott of product labeling in Judea and Samaria. The Russia-Ukraine war revealed a lot of cards: and one of the cards that Europe, in its biggest crisis since World War II – in a series of “moral” decisions has led itself to a huge energy crisis and dependence on Russian oil and gas. Trump tried to force NATO to stop consuming energy from Russia, he asked Europe to strengthen its defense budgets but the Europeans were on their own and today they are paying the price.
Norway’s attempt to put pressure on the State of Israel and harm it is not new to us. The West has always created “diplomatic crises” in an attempt to intervene in Israel’s internal affairs. Alternatively, some European countries are engaging in practices of pouring huge fortunes on blatant and, of course, “value-added” associations that require Israelis to change. We must not be silent. Israel needs to make it clear that it is no longer a province or an autonomy in the European Union. Israel is an advanced, highly recycled country in the world, with tremendous production, high technology, natural resources and military power. This is not the Israel of 2008, which feared international isolation and tsunamis – but a country that the entire industrialized world is courting when its former prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has signed groundbreaking peace and trade agreements and bequeaths to the current government a diplomatically leveraged state.
Norway is now boycotting Judea and Samaria. Following a series of European decisions against settlement. Should Israel consider an attack policy? Or perhaps contain the incident? First in line to get quality intelligence and favorable trade agreements.Stores that are as bad for us as Norway – will be last for any kind of cooperation.
Although Israel is not a large volume of the world market, its technologies break equality and its economy knows how to produce strategic assets from the military and security to health and retail. There are a lot of countries that export gas or fish – there are not many countries that save human lives on a daily basis with their developments from health to intelligence protection.

Not for nothing Turkey, Greece and Saudi Arabia are seeking contact with Israel. They understand that our country is an emerging regional power – the new power of “Euro-Asia” – a bloc of countries imprisoned between the powers of Asia, and the powers of Europe.
European decisions have no practical effects on the Israeli economy. The global boycott movement has failed miserably when it has mainly a “consolation prize” in the form of performances, local boycotts and economic damage that is mainly media coverage. And yet: this is an intervention in the sovereignty of the State of Israel, a threat to its citizens and especially an antisemitic crime – out of dozens of territorial conflicts in the world – only one conflict is obsessively addressed by the European legislature and its equivalent from the UN.
Israel needs to signal to Western culture not to take it for granted. The EU and their American counterparts are important. There is no need to turn tables, there is no need to make a “revolution in Israeli thinking.” It is necessary to make it clear to Europeans through political art that from Israel’s point of view, only Israel is important and if the European Union attacks Israel – there will inevitably be an appropriate Zionist response that will charge a practical price. This is the time for Israel to dictate the initiative to the Europeans and not the other way around. The changes that Israel has undergone in the last 15 years by the grace of God – can allow us to raise our heads and become an independent state and no longer a European colony.
