Neeraj Chopra | Call for weddings! Neeraj Chopra reveals reason for flying to US

by time news
Indian Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has said he flew to the US to escape local wedding invitations. The actress also said that the constant phone calls inviting her to weddings affected her training. Neeraj says he is now able to train in the US with peace of mind.

Neeraj, who has not competed in any other event since the Tokyo Olympics, recently went to the US to regain fitness and train.

‘Most of our careers we athletes are separated from family and friends. But after winning a medal at the Olympics, I started meeting a lot of people. They praised me and shared the joy. But they often carry the weight of expectations, ”says Neeraj Chopra.

When the weight of expectations increases, there will be unnecessary stress and it will then affect the mental health. So the habit of following something has to change into it. Neeraj said that he can find more relief when he returns to training.

‘Winter has started in Haryana. Now it’s wedding season. So I was invited to many weddings. It all made me dizzy. But now I am happy. I can train with peace of mind without focusing on other subjects, ”says Neeraj Chopra.

SA vs IND | Shardul Thakur named ‘Wonder Boy’ of India in Wanderers; A handful of achievements of its own

Johannesburg: Indian cricketer Shardul Thakur has emerged as India’s ‘Wonder Boy’ with his medium pace balls at the green field at Wanderers. The Indian medium pacer, who took seven wickets in the first innings of the second Test between South Africa and India, holds a handful of records.

Shardul single-handedly knocked South Africa out as India’s strike bowlers Jaspreet Bumra and Mohammad Shami struggled to find wickets. He also holds the record for the best bowling performance by an Indian bowler against South Africa in a match.

Shardul took seven wickets for 61 runs in 17.5 overs in the first innings against South Africa in the Wanderers’ Test, surpassing R Ashwin’s record of 66 for seven in the 2015-2016 Test against South Africa in Nagpur.

He also holds the record for the best bowling performance by an Indian bowler in South Africa. Anil Kumble (53-6) in Johannesburg in 1992-93, Javagal Srinath (76-6) in Port Elizabeth in 2001-2002 and Ravindra Jadeja (138-6) in Durban in 2013-2014 were the best bowlers on South African soil.

In addition, Shardul’s performance yesterday surpassed the record held by Englishman Matthew Hogard for his bowling prowess at Wanderers. In 2004-2005, Hogard took seven wickets for 61 runs.
