Peters made this throw in his very first round. India’s Neeraj Chopra had to settle for second place. Neeraj threw 87.86 meters in the third round. He missed the first place by just one centimeter. For the second consecutive year, Neeraj finished second in the Diamond League Final.

Neeraj Chopra remained at second place
