Kollam: Relatives of those who were arrested in the incident of stripping the underwear of female students for the NEET exam in Kollam are protesting. They are protesting by sit-in at Chadayamangalam police station. The protest is alleging that innocent people have been made accused. They also accuse the police of trying to protect the real accused.

In the controversy, the cleaning workers who were arrested had earlier come forward against the private agency that was in charge of checking the children. The employees of Ayur Marthoma College came forward against the security agency. Under the instructions of the staff of the agency, the underwear was taken off. The disclosure belongs to S Mariamma and K Mariamma who are remanded in the case.
