Negotiations are advanced in relation to the sale of Sidor’s class B shares

Representatives of Asosiderúrgico and the Mediation Board of the Corporation of Venezuela Guayan (CVG) held a meeting in which they progressed in the negotiation regarding the purchase and sale of Sidor’s class B shares.

The meeting was held at CVG headquarters, in which Jesús Cova, Argenis Campos, León González, José Tremaria, César Hernández, José Saracual, Cristóbal Marín, Princesa Jiménez, Nelson Solano, Emilio Ruiz and Hermes Rodríguez were present as representatives of the shareholders. .

Then, the database of shareholders who want to sell their shares was delivered, the number of shares to be sold and the issue of the lost documents were also discussed.

According to a press release from Asosiderúrgico, CVG’s supervisory board agreed to deliver those missing documents as ownership certificates and thus continue the process.

Hermes Rodríguez, in his capacity as president of Asosiderúrgico, indicated that they are now entering the third phase of negotiations.

Because of this, they are demanding a general meeting of shareholders to announce the progress and “we will explain in detail how the operation will be developed to deliver the certificates,” said Rodríguez.

These assemblies will begin this Friday, August 23 at 8:00 in the morning, at the headquarters of Torre Movistar, in Alta Vista.

In San Félix it will be on Saturday at the same time in the Sutiss Club. The meeting is planned for August 30 in Ciudad Bolívar, specifically at the Mirador de Angostura, at 8:30 in the evening.

Although it will be on August 31 in Upata, in Plaza Bolívar at 8:30 in the morning.
