Two days before the start of Maccabi Netanya’s training and after the signing of Liran Rotman, Erich Barko and Gil Yitzhak, the issue of the goalkeeper continues to be in the headlines at the club. Although it seemed that Danny Amos would continue, the negotiations ran aground and could even lead to an explosion.
In recent weeks, Netanya has held several meetings with the goalkeeper and demanded that he cut his salary, and although Amos has expressed a willingness to do so, there are still considerable gaps between the parties. If the negotiations do fall in the end, ONE has learned that talks have already begun with Betar Jerusalem goalkeeper Itamar Nitzan and according to sources, the goalkeeper also promised Netanya an answer soon and is marked as an alternative in case Amos does not reach an equal valley with the club.
