A food distribution for the needy was founded under the name “Angels in Need”.
Landshut – pm (07/23/2023) After the previous first chairman of the association resigned for health reasons, the executive board of the neighborhood assistance e. V. invited to an extraordinary board meeting on Friday. Here provisionally Marco Rauschenberger as 1st chairman and Ludwig Friedrich as the new 2nd chairman were unanimously appointed and thus the board team is also able to work seamlessly and powerfully.
An extraordinary general meeting was immediately convened for August, in which the two new chairmen are then to be elected. After the reorganization of the association with an almost completely new board of members with experience in the association, the goal was to steer the association in a structured way and to give the existing non-profit organization transparent content and expand activities. As a result, a group of the association was founded under the name “Angels in Need” at the beginning of June and organized regular food distribution to people in need. “The project is now running very successfully and is supported by many sponsors and food donors, for which we are very grateful,” emphasizes the provisional 1st chairman Marco
Rauschenberger.
Ludwig Friedrich, who also took over the organizational project management at the same time, adds: “We are proud that we now have a permanent group of helpers who volunteer their time and manpower every Saturday for pre-sorting and unpacking and the on-site distribution at Schinderstraßl 30 in Ergolding.” “We are
