The neighborhood used to be a working-class neighborhood, but in the last decade it has attracted many young people who want to live quietly, but also close to the center of Tel Aviv. There are train housing in the neighborhood, but there is a momentum of urban renewal, along with the construction and expansion of detached houses, and luxury towers. The character of the neighborhood will change in the coming years, as entertainment and shopping centers are planned in the BIA.

A little about the prices – the price of a square meter in the neighborhood reaches NIS 42-44 thousand. Prices in Yad Eliyahu have increased threefold in the last ten years, compared to a twofold increase in the national average. In the last two years, prices in Yad Eliyahu have risen over 30% while the national average has risen by 25%.
