Nellai Town SN Three students were killed when the toilet barrier of Chapter High School opposite the Hairo Museum Grounds collapsed. 6 students were injured. They were treated at Nellai Government Medical College Hospital.
Solomon Selvaraj, the headmaster of the school, Gnana Selvi, the headmistress and three others were arrested in connection with the school accident.
Following this incident, the quality of school buildings across Tamil Nadu is being inspected and old dilapidated buildings are being demolished.
In this case, the Nellai court granted bail to the school principal, trustee and building contractor in connection with the Nellai school accident.
