Riyadh: A city is preparing to amaze the world in Saudi Arabia. A design that breaks down all urban and residential concepts so far is about to become a reality in Saudi Arabia’s dream project area, Neom. A road and a city with no cars will move forward on 100 percent renewable energy.
Neom city, which is under construction in Tabuk, is the dream project of Saudi Crown Prince Amir Mohammed bin Salman. Saudi released the design of ‘The Line’, the main project in Neom, the other day. The Line project area is an area of high ecological significance. There will be no roads or cars in this city. Moving forward with 100 percent renewable energy, a carbon-free city that uses only solar and wind power.

Instead of vehicles, there will be autonomous services using artificial intelligence in this city. A high-speed transport system is also being prepared to cover a distance of 170 km from one end to the other in 20 minutes.
On the northern border of Saudi Arabia, along the Red Sea coast, the houses are designed in such a way that they hang inside the glass on both sides within a 170 km long and 200 m wide stretch. 90 lakh people including natives and foreigners can settle here. This smart city will have all facilities like schools, hospitals, shopping malls and entertainment facilities.
While Saudi Arabia swelters in 50-degree heat during the hot summer, city dwellers on The Line can enjoy ideal weather year-round. 50,000 crore project will create 1.3 quarter lakh employment opportunities in an area of 34 square kilometers.
