The former footballer and current leader of San Lorenzo, Néstor Ortigoza was denounced by his ex-partner Lucía Cassiau for gender violenceThe former Paraguayan midfielder had previously filed a complaint for domestic violence.

According to reports, for months now Ortigoza faces a conflictual separation with the mother of his two childrenwhich triggered the intervention of the Justice system.

So much so that this morning a Cassiau’s house raidedin a gated community in the town of Canning, where some firearms and ammunition were seized (she was allegedly a legitimate user). After this, the woman reported the former footballer for gender violence.

This was not the only time that the Paraguayan received a complaint, since two years ago he was sentenced to two years and two months of conditional imprisonment for coercive threats against former San Lorenzo employee Mauricio Argañarás. Ultimately, the case did not move forward because Judge Graciela Angriman considered the criminal action to be extinguished.

Currently, Ortigoza holds the position of member of the board of directors at San Lorenzo. after club president Marcelo Moretti decided to create a new Football Secretariat made up of Julio Lopardo (manager), Alejandro Tamer (member), Ángel Bernuncio (former footballer) and Norberto Ortega Sánchez (former footballer).

Ortigoza’s current relationship with the fans is not the best. In recent months, his role at the “Ciclón” has angered fans because, before becoming only a member of the club, the former footballer was the club’s manager and received countless complaints – and messages on banners insinuating that he is a Boca fan – due to a weak transfer market.
