The regular season in the Premier League is a round and a half away from the end, and so is the fiery battle for a ticket to the top playoffs. While Maccabi Netanya came up practically and Bnei Sakhnin also came significantly closer, Hapoel Tel Aviv kept a reasonable chance, Hapoel Hadera got in big trouble, Hapoel Haifa was out of the fight and Kiryat Shmona will also play in the final playoffs.
Fourth place: Maccabi Netanya, 39 points
Bnei Lem’s team has one game left against Hapoel Tel Aviv, but in light of its goal difference, which is much better than Bnei Sakhnin’s below it, it has guaranteed a practical increase and will play in the top playoffs.
Fifth place: Bnei Sakhnin, 39 points
Haim Sylves’ team has a game left against the table lock Maccabi Petah Tikva, and it is expected to be part of the six.
Sixth place: Hapoel Tel Aviv, 37 points
The Reds did their part with the victory over Hapoel Jerusalem in Teddy, and it all depends on them ahead of the decisive round in which they will meet Maccabi Netanya. Victory and they are certainly inside, but even in case of loss they may qualify, depending on what Hadera does.
Seventh place: Hapoel Hadera, 36 points
Menachem Koretzky’s team is facing a particularly difficult task against Maccabi Tel Aviv. It should win and depends on the stumbling block of the Reds from Tel Aviv against Netanya. A victory for the Yellows will definitely indirectly help the city’s red team.
Eighth place: Hapoel Haifa, 30 points
Elisha Levy’s team has two missing games, one against Hapoel Beer Sheva at Toto Turner Stadium and one against Hapoel Jerusalem in Sami Ofer. Despite this, they will no longer play in the top playoffs.
