Netanyahu and Levin express gratitude to reform supporters, vow to persevere

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu released a video message in which he expressed gratitude to the protesters for their efforts in legal reform. He acknowledged the hundreds of thousands of right-wingers who demonstrated this week. Netanyahu mentioned negotiations at the President’s House and emphasized the importance of reaching a broad national consensus. Justice Minister Yariv Levin also sent a message of appreciation to his supporters for their involvement in the legal reform. Levin thanked them for their unwavering support and stated their voices will continue to be heard for a just justice system.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu published a video message today (Friday) in which he thanked the protesters for the legal reform. “I salute the hundreds of thousands of right-wingers who took to the streets this week.”

Referring to the negotiations at the President’s House, the Prime Minister said: “We are currently in the process of negotiations, I believe that the attempt should be made to reach a broad national consensus.”

Justice Minister Yariv Levin also published a message on the subject today, as part of the ‘Shabbat Shalom’ greeting that he sends every week to his supporters and followers on social media.

Levin wrote to them: “Thank you very much to the many people who came out this week to support the legal reform. Your support is very strengthening and encouraging. We will continue to make our voices heard strongly. We will not give up our right to a just justice system.”
