Israel will continue military operations in the Gaza Strip until all designated war objectives are achieved.
As Day.Az reports with reference to TASS, Prime Minister of the Jewish State Benjamin Netanyahu announced this at a press conference.
“Israel will continue to fight in the Gaza Strip until it achieves all the goals of the war. Our military pressure is working, we have reached such areas [в секторе Газа], which were impossible to imagine. Israel will fight until complete victory, this includes actions in Rafah (a city in the south of the Gaza Strip – approx.) after the evacuation of civilians. Those who dissuade us from carrying out the operation in Rafah are inclining us to lose the war,” the head of government said.
“Any agreement [об урегулировании конфликта] “with the Palestinians is only possible through direct negotiations between the parties without preconditions,” he said.
“Israel, under my leadership, will continue to resolutely oppose unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state,” the head of government noted. “After the terrible massacre of October 7, there can be no greater reward for terrorism than this (unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state – approx.), and it will prevent any peaceful settlement in the future.”
“We will not succumb to any pressure. We will not give up, because we are a nation of heroes,” Netanyahu emphasized.
