MADRID, 11 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has assured that the case presented this Thursday by South Africa before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) denouncing the genocide that would be being committed in the Gaza Strip is a “historic demonstration of hypocrisy.”

“A terrorist organization carries out the worst crime against the Jewish people since the Holocaust, and now someone comes to defend them in the name of the Holocaust. What audacity,” Netanyahu said in a video broadcast through his profile on the social network. X, formerly Twitter.

“The hypocrisy of South Africa cries out to heaven,” he protested, accusing the African country of being the representative of the “monsters” of Hamas. “Where were you, South Africa, when millions of people were killed or displaced from their homes in Syria and Yemen by Hamas partners?” she asked.

“We will continue to fight against terrorists and against lies (…) we will continue to protect our just right to defend ourselves and secure our future,” the Israeli prime minister emphasized.

This Thursday began the first hearing of the case presented by South Africa before the ICJ against Israel for genocide in the Gaza Strip, where more than 23,400 people have already died due to Israeli attacks since October 7.
