jpnn.com – iPhone and iPad users running the 16 operating system are reportedly no longer able to use the Netflix application.
The reason is, Netflix will stop its services on Apple devices.
According to a MacRumors report on Thursday (12/9), users must be running iOS 17 if they want to use the video streaming application.
A string of code pointing to the upcoming changes was discovered in the Netflix iPhone app by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris.
For iOS 16 users, you can currently ignore the warning because you can still use the Netflix application as usual.
However, in the future, the Netflix application on iOS 16 will not get any more updates and new features.
The iPhone devices that cannot use Netflix are the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
The same goes for iPad Pro (1st generation) and iPad (5th generation) owners, who will still be running iPadOS 16, as iPadOS 17 ends support for these models.
