Popular OTT company Netflix has launched its new plan called Basic with Ads. This is Netflix’s cheapest subscription service. According to the plan, only mobile users can use it, in which 15 to 30 seconds of ads may appear on the screen intermittently. As of now, the company is only going to launch this program in select countries.
According to the company, plans will be made to expand it depending on how people support it. Earlier, Netflix’s lowest fee was $10 per month. This fee was charged for the plan called Netflix-in Basic with Ads (basic with ads).

It has announced that up to seven dollars will be charged as a monthly subscription as per the project called Basic with Ads. And Netflix has set limits that users of this Basic with Ads plan can watch only 720p quality videos. Other premium category users can watch higher quality videos. At the same time, the subscription is also high. Also, customers using this plan called Basic with Adds are currently only allowed to watch a limited number of shows.
Because they cannot watch all the shows due to some licensing restrictions. It seems that this too can be fixed in some time. A customer subscribing to this plan will be shown a total of four to five minutes of advertisements if they watch videos for up to an hour. Netflix has also imposed a restriction that you cannot download titles.
In which countries is this service launched?
According to the current situation, the company will introduce this plan to a total of 12 countries. Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Spain, the UK and the US will be rolling out the plan in November.
When will it be available in India?
Netflix subscription in India has been very low compared to other countries. Netflix, which has decided to set new tariffs for India, will introduce subscription-based plans starting at almost $2 per month. In this plan you can watch videos only on mobile phones.
A monthly subscription of up to INR 150 per month in Indian currency will be required. You can watch the video in 480p quality. The facility is also provided for use on two devices, one mobile and one tablet. Apart from this, there are also plans priced at Rs 199, Rs 499 and Rs 649. Depending on the price, there will be a difference in the facilities offered to the customers.
