The Netherlands introduced a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup on Monday. Two skilled cricketers, Colin Akerman and Roelf von der Marwijk, weren’t included of their World Cup squad. As a substitute they’ve been given alternatives to younger folks. Left-arm spinner Tim Pringle and heart-hitter opening batsman Michael Levitt have come into the staff.
Levitt scored a century in opposition to Namibia within the tri-series in February. He performed an innings of 135 runs off 62 balls with 11 fours and 10 sixes.
Wicketkeeper batsman Scott Edwards will lead the Netherlands on this World Cup as regular. There’s star all-rounder bass de lead.
Netherlands are in ‘D’ group in T20 World Cup. The place their opponents are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Nepal.
The Netherlands’ World Cup mission will start with a match in opposition to Nepal on June 4. After that, they’ll play in opposition to South Africa on June 8. Their opponent is Bangladesh within the third match on June 13. And on June 17, they’ll face Sri Lanka within the final match of the group stage.
