Network of community centers in Saltillo grows

Mayor José María Fraustro Siller announced the construction of four new Community Centers in different parts of the city. These efforts, backed by Governor Miguel Angel Riquelme Solisseek to bring the benefits of these spaces to a greater number of people from Saltillo.

In the words of Mayor Chema Fraustro: “We want the benefits provided by the Community Centers to reach more and more people of Saltilla, for this reason we have started the construction of these four community centers; two are already working and two more are about to do so”.

One of these new Community Centers, located in the Virreyes neighborhood to the north of Saltillo, already shows significant progress, reaching almost 60 percent of its construction. According to the Directorate of Infrastructure and Public Works, this center will offer a wide range of activities that will promote social development in the neighborhood and its surroundings. The planned facilities include a fully equipped multipurpose room and a shaded esplanade for outdoor activities, as well as complementary equipment.

With these new social spaces, Saltillo will have a total of 33 Community Centers, strategically distributed throughout the city. Each of them offers a variety of services and benefits for citizens, thus consolidating a support and development network that covers all sectors of the city.

The other two Community Centers built during this administration are located in the Lomas del Refugio neighborhood, to the south of Saltillo, and Valle de las Torres, to the west. These spaces, added to those of Valle de las Aves in the east and Virreyes in the north, demonstrate the continued commitment of Mayor Fraustro Siller to strengthen the community of Saltilla in all directions.

The network of Community Centers is consolidated as a fundamental pillar for well-being and social cohesion in Saltillo, offering a wide range of activities and services to satisfy the needs of all the inhabitants of the city.
