A new accident during the construction of the Mexico-Toluca Intercity Train left two workers injured when they fell while they were welding.

The injured workers, a 23-year-old man and another 30-year-old man, were treated on site by members of the Rescue and Medical Emergency Squad (ERUM) and diagnosed as polycontusions; one with minor injuries and another with a fracture of the right ankle, the agency reported. Directorate General of Transport Works (DGOT) of the Secretariat of Public Works and Services (SOBSE).
Both workers were taken to a hospital to treat their injuries and according to information from SOBSE, both are out of danger and will receive all the support for their recovery.
