Passengers boarding Air India flights on Friday will be notified of the handover of Air India to Tata. Pilots will issue notice regarding guidance to passengers when traveling on an aircraft. It has been said that this will be reported then.
The Department of Operations has asked the pilots to issue a notice after the doors are closed, after all passengers have boarded all flights departing on Friday.

Almost 69 years later, Air India was handed over to Tata on Thursday. In October last year, state-owned Air India was sold to Dallas Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Tata Group, for Rs 18,000 crore. Following this, a letter was sent on behalf of the government to the Tata Group expressing its desire to sell 100 per cent stake in Air India.

Subsequently, the Federal Government signed a share purchase agreement. As part of the deal, Tata Group will acquire a 50 per cent stake in Air India Express and Air India Chhattisgarh.
Earlier, it had set a base price of Rs 12,906 crore for the sale of shares of loss-making Air India. In a subsequent auction, SpiceJet chairman Ajay Singh’s joint venture offered to buy it for Rs 15,100 crore.
This will be the first privatization in the post-2003-04 period. Meanwhile, Air India will be the third airline brand in Tata. Already, Tata owns a majority stake in Air Asia India and Vistara.
