The All Sri Lanka Greenhouse Owners Association has said that although the total price of a kilo of wheat has been reduced by 25 rupees, the prices of greenhouse products including pan cannot be reduced.
NK Jayawardena, President of the All Sri Lanka Greenhouse Owners Association, said this.
The price of the pan cannot be reduced
He further commented, “While the price of cowpea was increased by Rs 270, we increased the price of pan.
Although the price of Gothumaima has been increased to Rs 400, the price of one pan Irathal has not been increased.
Reducing the current price of Rs 400 per kg of wheat by Rs 100 will not reduce the price of pan,” he said.
