From September 1, Peter Will will be the new board member for drive train production at Audi Hungaria Zrt.

He started his career at AUDI AG in 1999 and has been working in various functions within the Audi Group for a quarter of a century. Will is taking over the board position from Robert Buttenhauser, who, after four very successful years at the Győr location, is moving to Ingolstadt and will also take over HV battery planning/drives and HV battery production with effect from 1 September September

Peter Will is a true Audi Hungaria expert, having been involved in the development of the Hungarian engine site in his previous positions. “We appreciate his expertise, especially in logistics and production planning,” said Michael Breme, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The new board member started his career at AUDI AG in vehicle distribution before being responsible for the development of processes and concepts in the logistics area. Will then took over the management of central logistics at Audi Hungary, after which he designed the structure in the foreign production area of ​​AUDI AG. He then established XKD activities in Brazil at Audi do Brasil for Q3 and A3 and then took over the planning and management of all Audi Group XKD projects. Until August 31, he was in charge of drive/chassis production planning at AUDI AG in Ingolstadt.

The CEO of Audi Hungaria Zrt., Michael Breme, also thanked Robert Buttenhauser for his work on the board. “With his work, he had a significant impact on the transformation of the world’s largest propulsion plant. This includes the commissioning and promotion of the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) electric motor generation – our first mass-produced electric drive.” In addition, he and his team were able to further develop the group’s electric motor generation here, the MEBeco in Győr and preparing the production accordingly.
