In this case, hospitals in our country will now have access to a unique and comprehensive set of certification services for stroke. It will all be thanks to a new collaboration between the Mexican Association of Cerebral Vascular Disease AC (AMEVASC) and the American Stroke Association (ASA).
How will the union work?
With this in mind, the American Heart Association is a division of the American Heart Association (AHA), the world’s leading organization promoting longer, healthier lives for all. Better-trained medical staff

This program is based on standards independently developed and overseen by two organizations driven by a common mission, reflecting decades of scientific and clinical experience.
On the other hand, it is necessary to remember that the Ministry of Health (SSa) affirms that around 170,000 cases of stroke occur each year in our country. Although it is already a high number, the trend indicates that more and more cases will occur. The reason is because some of its causes are the high blood pressure, heart problems and diabetesall risk factors that are increasing in our country.
Of the above figure, about a third are fatal and up to 60 percent of those who survive this condition will be severely disabled. That is why it is not enough just to recognize the obvious signs of the disease, but there must be rapid action.
