Chennai: As Vijay’s people’s movement is contesting in the urban local body elections, Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy has met actor Vijay.

For 219 corporations, including Chennai, 138 municipalities and 490 municipalities, for 649 urban local bodies in Tamil Nadu, ward-wise elections are to be held in a single phase.

The results are due to be announced on February 22, with voting set to take place on February 19. All political parties are actively campaigning.
