Maj. Gen. Chandana Vijayasundara assumed duties as the 28th Commander of the Jaffna Security Forces Headquarters yesterday (12).
The Army Commanders of the Jaffna Security Forces were accorded military honors along with all religious rites and the new Commander was welcomed with a military parade and commenced his duties at dawn.
The event was attended by Army Commanders, Commanders of the Pre-Maintenance Area (North), Brigade Commanders, senior Army officers and Army personnel.
