Found dead
On Friday morning, around 6 o’clock, a mother woke up in one of the apartments of the Kėdainiai district apartment building and noticed her baby in bed without signs of life.
The woman urgently called the General Helpline. Ambulance and police crews rushed to the specified location.
When the services arrived, they could no longer help the baby – only the girl, who was born in June, was pronounced dead. The baby’s body was taken away by the employees of the funeral service company.
Experts will answer whether the baby suffered from sudden infant death syndrome, whether he died due to illness or for other reasons.

According to the initial data collected by police officers, the body of the dead baby found is without external signs of violence.

The 32-year-old mother of the baby was found to be slightly intoxicated – 1.21 per thousand. Due to the shock, the young woman herself needed medical help.
