New details emerged on Monday about the sudden death of WWE superstar Bray Wyatt, whose real name was Windham Rotunda. Wyatt passed away last Thursday from a heart attack at the age of 36.

According to law enforcement records obtained by TMZ, Wyatt had been taking a nap at the time of his death. His fiancee, former WWE ring announcer JoJo Offerman, became worried when she heard his alarm going off an hour later without stopping. Wyatt was found unresponsive in bed, “turning blue,” as reported in the documents.

Offerman’s mother attempted CPR while Offerman called 911, but sadly, Wyatt was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The tragedy occurred several months after Wyatt had contracted COVID-19 and developed heart complications as a result.

Doctors had advised Wyatt to keep a heart defibrillator with him, but it was not on him at the time of his death. The device was later discovered inside his vehicle in the driveway.

TMZ reported that Wyatt had been hospitalized for a heart issue a week before his passing. On the morning of his death, Wyatt had met with doctors who recommended that he continue wearing the external heart defibrillator.

The news of Wyatt’s untimely death was first announced by WWE’s head of creative, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, via a post on Twitter. Levesque expressed his condolences and asked for privacy for Wyatt’s family during this difficult time.

Despite his tragic passing, Wyatt leaves behind a remarkable legacy in the world of professional wrestling. He had been with the WWE since 2009, rising through the ranks and performing in their developmental promotions FCW and NXT. In 2012, he was promoted to the main roster and became a three-time world champion in WWE.

The wrestling community mourns the loss of Bray Wyatt, a talented performer and beloved member of the WWE family. As his fans remember his outstanding contributions to the sport, they also reflect on the importance of prioritizing health and seeking necessary medical assistance when facing complicated conditions.
