20 years after the first edition, the cult mobile phone Nokia 6310 is back!
As the manufacturer HMD Global, which has been developing phones under the Nokia brand since 2016, announced today, the 6310 is now available on the market as a so-called feature phone, reinterpreted. So it is not a fully equipped smartphone, but a simple mobile phone that is supposed to score points with ease of use, long battery life and low price.
Bigger display, no 4G
The new 6310 is equipped with a 2.8-inch display (320 x 240 pixels). For comparison: the original 6310 had a resolution of 96 x 60 pixels.

Otherwise, only the most necessary is installed: Bluetooth, WLAN, a battery with 1150mAh, which according to HMD Global should provide weeks of runtime, and a camera with only 0.3 megapixels. What is missing is 4G – this mobile phone only transmits in the 2G network, so there is no fast internet on the go.
But just like the classic on board: the game “Snake”. It is pre-installed.
