Home Minister Namachivayam, who participated in various programs yesterday in Karaikal, told reporters:

The BJP will announce its position when the statehood issue is brought up in the Assembly. “There will be no harm to the people due to the pre-paid electricity meter installation project. Whatever scheme the government comes up with, it is brought after weighing the pros and cons several times. The new education policy has already been introduced and implemented in Puducherry.

Whatever scheme the government brings, some political parties make it their job to oppose it with political malice and spread wrong news.
