More than any other time in history, we are at a point where the subculture is influencing the artistic discourse and agenda in society in the 21st century. After hundreds of years in which the fringes of society existed in everyday discourse without a voice and without recognition of their rights, and were defined as “freaks”, “weirds” and “outcasts” – today they exist in the light and their voices are heard, thanks to artists who have taken on the role of directing the spotlights, commenting and illuminating Marginal culture and the precursors of the public PC discourse.
