As the spread of corona in Tamil Nadu continues to decline, the Department of Medicine and Public Welfare today released a report on the current situation. Accordingly, 1,310 cases have been confirmed in Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours. Today’s level is down to 1325 from yesterday’s.
The total number of corona confirmed in the state has increased to 34 lakh 40 thousand 531.
In Chennai, 303 people were confirmed infected yesterday and today 296 people have been confirmed. Corona has been confirmed in 227 people in Coimbatore, 110 in Chengalpattu, 77 in Erode and 66 in Tirupur.
Today 5,374 people have been discharged after treatment in a single day. Thus the total number of people recovering from corona in Tamil Nadu has increased to 33 lakh 75 thousand 281.
Today, 10 people have died from the corona virus infection in a single day. The death toll from the corona has risen to 37,956. The number of people receiving corona treatment across the state has dropped from 31,368 to 27,294.
