An X user wants to know the date of the next big Apple event. We reveal what will be shown there.
Apple fans can carefully mark September 10th in their calendars. According to a user of the short message service X, the next big Apple event will take place this Tuesday. He learned this from a source who wishes to remain anonymous, writes Majin Bu.
Even though the date has not been officially confirmed by Apple, it sounds plausible. In previous years, the manufacturer’s new devices were also presented on the second Tuesday in September.
What is expected? It is highly likely that Apple will present its iPhone 16 models. Many details are not known. According to rumors, the Apple smartphone in the Pro version will appear in a new additional color variant in addition to the white, black and silver versions. As several leakers report, it is a dark gold, which is called “Titan Desert”.
The title of the event in September, which Majin Bu shared in his X-message, could also indicate this. “Ready. Set. Capture,” it says on the invitation card. In German, that means something like “On your marks. Get set. Capture.”
The camera button could be placed on the right side of the case under the on/off button, wrote “The Information”. The button should respond to both pressure and touch and make it easier to handle the camera in horizontal mode.
According to the magazine, there will be no other visual changes to the new iPhone models other than the additional button. Rumor has it that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will just be slightly larger than the previous versions.
According to the report, the company also wants to bring the devices, called AirPods 4, onto the market in two versions: an entry-level model and a slightly better equipped and more expensive version of the earphones.
The most obvious difference: Only the mid-range model of the AirPods 4 is said to have active noise cancellation – also called Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). According to Gurman, both devices have a similar design.
The website “9to5mac” reports that both versions can be charged via USB-C – although the magazine assumes that only the more expensive devices support wireless charging. This is the case with the current AirPod models.
Gurman did not comment further on the current top model, AirPods Pro 2. These gadgets are only expected to receive an update at a later date. The earphones will be launched in 2022. A year later, the devices will receive a USB-C port, which will replace the Lightning port.
