With a total of 58 votes in favor, 2 abstentions and zero votes against, deputy Ernesto Castro was elected again as president of the Legislature for the period 2024-2027.
Meanwhile, legislator Suecy Callejas was elected as the first vice president of the Legislative Assembly with a total of 58 votes in favor and two abstentions.
The cyan deputy, Rodrigo Ayala, will also once again be the second vice president of the Legislative Assembly and was elected by the plenary session with 57 votes in favor.
Legislator Elisa Rosales was also elected with 57 votes to once again be the first secretary of the Board of Directors.
While the PCN deputy Reynaldo Cardoza was elected with 57 votes, as second secretary for the period from May 1 to October 31, 2025, the legislator of the same party, Serafín Orantes, was also elected with 57 votes as second secretary. from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2027.
And as the third secretary of the Board of Directors, the plenary session elected the PDC deputy, Reynaldo Carballo, with 57 votes.
In the installation session, the next president of the Legislative Assembly, Ernesto Castro, was also sworn in, who in turn swore in the 60 regular and substitute deputies elected to Congress and the members of the Board of Directors.
