The Economic Federation of the province of Buenos Aires (FEBA) coordinated the launch of the line of Credit Impulse to Buenos Aires Commerce in the facilities of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lomas de Zamora. The conference was headed by the Buenos Aires Minister of Production, Science and Technological Innovation, Augusto Costa; the head of the Buenos Aires Chamber of Deputies, Federico Otermín; the President of Banco Provincia, Juan Cuattromo; the mayor of Lomas de Zamora, Marina Lesci and the head of FEBA, Camilo Alberto Kahale.
President Kahale thanked the authorities present for choosing FEBA for this launch: “This product will serve all merchants and that is why we are proud that they have taken the Economic Federation into account to present it.”
Moved, Kahale also recalled Fabián Tarrio’s leadership activity and asked for a minute of silence in his memory.
“Here we have merchants and leaders from all the chambers of the Province. Before, Banco Provincia only worked with large companies. Since Juan Cuattromo took office, it has provided many tools to retailers. Today the Bank has a direct relationship with SMEs, more than with large companies”, highlighted the head of FEBA.
Along the same lines, Kahale highlighted the work of Minister Costa: “Before there was no Ministry of Production and since Augusto took office he has not stopped touring the Province. We feel accompanied, we know that we can take all our worries to them”. In the same way, he stressed the great work that Federico Otermín does: “We count on your support in the Chamber of Deputies to advance the laws that SMEs in the Province need.”
In her turn, Marina Lesci thanked Lomas de Zamora for presenting the Impulse Credit line: “No one can develop in a community that is not being realized, and our community grows through commerce, industry and employment. If our SMEs grow, they provide employment and strengthen us as a city”.
For his part, Otermín conveyed the greetings of the Chief of Staff, Martín Insaurralde and highlighted the importance of the presence of Minister Costa and the head of Banco Provincia. Returning to Kahale’s words, he stressed: “In the previous Government there was no Ministry of Production, it was not an area that interested them. And the same with Banco Provincia, there was no initiative for 4 years”. And he assured: “In Lomas we bet on the joint work of workers, businessmen, merchants and industrialists.”
The head of Banco Provincia thanked FEBA for receiving it: “There is no way to manage without linking the different levels of Government. The Province needs to be defended and from the Bank we work to generate tools for the competitiveness of SMEs”. And he finished: “Thank you for having us, we know we are part of the same team.”
To end the meeting, Minister Costa expressed his satisfaction for presenting this tool for trade: “Those of us who think about the productive development of the Province cannot look the other way. SMEs end up in a place of weakness if the State does not support their development. The solution is not to close the State, but to discuss what are the tools that SMEs need. And at that point FEBA is permanently presenting proposals to strengthen Small and Medium Enterprises in the Province, and many of these initiatives end up being State policies.
