The new generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza is currently one of the most anticipated upcoming cars in the Indian market. The manufacturer has confirmed that the updated SUV will be launched in India on June 30. 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza will retain its competition with Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon etc. The new Hyundai Venue Facelift is set to launch this month. Initially, Maruti Suzuki planned to drop the prefix ‘Vitara’ from its name, which means that now it will be called Presa.

Exterior styling
Modifications to the new Brezza include a new grille, elegant headlamps with L-shaped daytime running lights, a new set of diamond-cut alloy wheels and substantial plastic body cladding. On the back, the SUV is fitted with slim reprocessed LED tail lights, with the BREZZA lettering placed under the Suzuki logo. Like the current version, the compact SUV will continue to be fitted with front and rear Fox skid plates.
Special Features
The footage shows that the SUV will be equipped with a floating touchscreen infotainment system that can measure up to 9 inches. The car will also feature a new flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters and a redesigned instrument cluster with a multi-info display in the middle. The Nest Generation Presa is expected to be equipped with a wireless charger, Apple CarPlay and Android auto connectivity, electronic stability control, six airbags, a 360-degree camera and Suzuki Connect connect-car deck, paddle shifters.
Engine & Transmission
Under the hood of the 2022 Maruti Presa will be the same new 1.5-liter four-cylinder natural aspirated petrol engine that performs duties on the recently launched new XL6 and Ertiga. The new engine produces 103 PS of maximum power and 136.8 Nm of torque, less than the 2 PS and 1.2 Nm outgoing version. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and will be mated to a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission instead of the 4-speed AT.
Expected price
The current Maruti Suzuki Vitara Presa starts at Rs 7.84 lakh, but considering all the changes and new features, the price of the new Presa is expected to be around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom).
