The average type to which they were granted mortgage credits in June in Spain it reached 4.045%, which is its highest level since February 2009, when it stood at 4.324%, according to data collected by the Bank of Spain.

In this context, the Euribor at twelve months, the index to which most Spanish mortgages are referenced, closed the month of June at 4.007% compared to 3.862% in May and 0.852% in June 2022.

The Euribor average so far in July is 4.162%, having approached the level of 4.2% for several days.
