In Chennai, corona infection was confirmed in 136 people yesterday, while today it has increased to 145 people.

The Medical and Public Welfare Department has released a report on the current state of corona infection in Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, 607 people have been confirmed infected in Tamil Nadu today.
Chennai continues to top the list of new vulnerabilities. In Chennai, 136 people were diagnosed with coronavirus yesterday while 145 were diagnosed today. Corona affected 92 people in Coimbatore district, 45 in Erode, 56 in Chengalpattu and 43 in Tirupur.
The total number of corona confirmed persons in the state has increased to 27 lakh 42 thousand 224. Today 689 people have been discharged after treatment in a single day. Thus the total number of people recovering from corona in Tamil Nadu has increased to 26 lakh 98 thousand 628.
Eight people have died in a single day today due to the corona virus infection. As a result, the death toll from corona in Tamil Nadu has risen to 36,707.
The number of people suffering from corona and undergoing treatment across Tamil Nadu has come down from 6,979 to 6,889. 1,03,938 samples were tested in the last 24 hours to diagnose corona infection.
