New players join Iraqi Premier League teams in winter transfers

/ The administrations of Al-Najaf, Naft Al-Wasat and Al-Qasim clubs announced on Wednesday the inclusion and loan of new players to their football teams during the winter transfer period.

Al-Najaf Club management stated that Al-Shorta Club star player Mohammed Dawood has moved to its football team on loan.

While player Karim Dali returned to his former team, Naft Al-Wasat, after terminating his association with the Nawroz club, which he represented in the previous stages.

Al-Qasim Club management also contracted with Nigerian professional Odini George, coming from Al-Qaisumah Saudi Club, for one season, and also contracted with player Ismail Malik, coming from Al-Sinaa Club, which is active in the Iraqi Premier League.

The Iraqi Football Association decided to suspend the Iraqi Premier League competitions due to the involvement of many players with the first team, which is playing matches in the Asian Cup.
