Dr. Lehvit Akerman, a specialist in dermatology, was elected to serve as chairman and president of the Israeli Association for Dermatological Surgery. Dr. Ackerman replaces Dr. Baruch Kaplan, who served as the chairman of the union for the past 5 years.

The Association for Dermatological Surgery has existed for 25 years and has over 150 members, doctors, some of whom are full members and some of whom are associate members. The association is a non-profit scientific body.
