It is said that at the egg producer stage, per piece 10 taka 58 paisa, wholesale 11 taka 1 paisa and retail stage 11 taka 87 paisa has been fixed. At the same time, golden chicken producer level 260 taka 78 paisa, wholesale 264 taka 57 paisa and retail stage 269 taka 64 paisa has been determined.
Apart from this, the price of broiler chicken has been fixed at Tk 168 91 paise per kg at producer level, Tk 172 at 61 paise at wholesale level and Tk 179 at 59 paise at retail level.
Bangladesh Poultry Industry Association, Feed Industries Association of Bangladesh, Breeders Association of Bangladesh, World Poultry Science Association, Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council, Bangladesh Poultry Farm Protection National Council, Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh except the director of all departmental livestock departments to take action in this regard. , a letter has been sent to the President/General of Bangladesh Agro Feed Ingredients Importers and Trading Association.
According to the letter, on the basis of the opinion of the Joint Working Group consisting of the leaders of the Directorate of Agriculture Marketing, Department of Livestock and various organizations/institutions related to poultry, the Directorate of Agriculture Marketing has fixed the fixed rational price of chicken (golden and broiler) and eggs for the year 2024. The Ministry of Agriculture has reviewed the report and requested to take necessary measures regarding price determination of chicken (golden and broiler) and eggs. After that, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock issued instructions to properly implement the fixed rational price.
