Government of Tamil Nadu is implementing various schemes for the welfare of school students. Moreover, it is trying to raise the educational level of students studying in government schools and to provide education at par with private schools. It is also informed that soon CBSE syllabus quality education will be imparted to government school students.

In this case, a meeting of former students was held at Chennai Christian College High School. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin studied in this school. In this meeting he shared his memories of his school life. Later, former students who studied in government schools in Tamil Nadu came forward to help for the improvement of their school and said that a new organization would be launched on December 19 to coordinate such activities and thereby address the needs of government schools.
