New Salik Gate and Paid Parking at Dubai Mall to Increase Revenue for RTA

DUBAI ∙ Apart from the new Salik Gate, fees will also be charged for parking at the Dubai Mall. The arrangement is to scan the numbers of vehicles entering the mall and deduct the parking fee from the account when returning.

Parking fee will be charged in the last quarter of this year. These are two important decisions of RTA which will help increase revenue this year. The Dubai Mall, which can park more than 13,000 vehicles, will increase revenue by imposing parking fees. The parking fee will be decided by Emaar, the mall owners.
