All the offices and courts of the country will run according to the normal schedule from tomorrow, Wednesday (July 31), the Ministry of Public Administration said. In continuation of this, from July 31, the bank’s activities will also continue as per the new schedule. Bank transactions will be from 10 am to 4 pm.
An instruction in this regard has been issued from the Department of Offsite Supervision of Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday (July 30).
According to the instructions, bank transactions will be conducted from Sunday to Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm. The bank office will be open from 10 am to 6 pm. It will be effective from tomorrow, Wednesday, July 31.
The government declared a general holiday from Sunday to Tuesday last week along with imposing a curfew as the students’ agitation turned violent to demand the reform of the quota system in government jobs. On Wednesday and Thursday, government and private offices were also opened on a limited scale and curfew was relaxed. The situation in the country has started to normalize. The government is relaxing the curfew period. The government has instructed the office court to run according to the normal schedule. As a result, bank transactions will continue as usual.
