Following the reduction in frequency that affected users who travel daily between Santiago and Rancagua, EFE announced a change in its itinerary.
The State Railways Company (EFE) announced the new August schedules for the Metrotren service Central Station – Rancaguawhich had a reduction in its frequency during the month of July.
This is due to technological updates to train-land connectivity that were agreed with the workers within the framework of the work stoppage caused by the train accident on June 20.
Under this context, according to the itinerary shared by the company, the service will operate every 20 minutes during morning and afternoon rush hours.
EFE adjusted the frequency of the train routes from Estación Central to Rancagua
