The latest Transsion devices on sale include the Tecno Phantom V, a foldable device similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z phone.
Samsung, the traditional rival
Samsung has been known as a traditional rival to the iPhone, which is more popular with consumers in North America.
The South Korean brand’s supply of smartphones, including the recent Samsung Galaxy S24, are generally among the most popular Android phones in the world.
The South Korean company recently released the Galaxy Z Flip 5, a foldable phone that may have prompted Apple to explore a similar option by offering a foldable iPhone in the future.
Samsung overtook Apple to occupy first place among global smartphone manufacturers, despite its shipments shrinking slightly by less than 1% in the first quarter of 2024.
