/ The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) announced on Sunday that the average selling price of crude oil exported to Jordan amounted to $64.318 per barrel during the month of January.

Thus, Iraq sold one barrel of crude oil to Jordan last month for less than $13 less than the official selling price announced by the Ministry of Oil, which amounted to $77,536, according to statistics issued by SOMO.

The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) said in a statistic on its website, which Agency reviewed, that “the total oil exports to Jordan during the month of January amounted to 464 thousand and 306 barrels,” indicating that “the export rate amounted to 14,978 thousand barrels per day.”

The company added that “the average price of a barrel sold to Jordan amounted to $64.318,” noting that “the value of imports from oil exports to Jordan during one month amounted to about $29 million and 863 thousand.”

It is noteworthy that Iraqi oil exports to Jordan have increased to about 15 thousand barrels per day, under an updated agreement to the previous agreement, which stipulated the sale of 10 thousand barrels per day of Iraqi oil to Amman, at prices about $16 less than the price of a barrel during the month.
