Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said that the country’s authorities in the near future intend to develop a plan to implement nine new conditions of the European Commission (EC), which are necessary for further European integration, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.Ru.
“We plan in the coming days to develop a plan for our next steps in connection with the nine priorities, which we will familiarize the public with,” Papuashvili said.
He also called on “the opposition and the civil sector” to join in developing the plan. From Papuashvili’s point of view, in this case Georgia will achieve the results necessary to obtain the status of a candidate for accession to the European Union.
